Hola

I will be traveling to Cuba in April. I want to take my iPOD with me so that I can relax on the beach to my favourite tunes. However, I am curious about what sort of adaptor I will need for the carging unit.

Currently, the charger has a type A plug, non-polarized, and ranges from 110-240V. I know that Cuba uses type C plugs, but is also one of the few contries to use type L plugs. I will be taking a A to C adaptor, but don't want to end up with a type L outlet!

What I am pondering is what are the frequency of these typle L plugs? Versus the type C plugs? Also, in the touristy areas (Varadero) are the combination Type A&C plugs very common?

TIA

Type A is, by far, the most common plug, 110v.

Type C, although I've seen them are rarely found in Cuba. Also 110v

Type L, I've never seen in Cuba.

There is a 220v socket, different than the above 2, found in some hotels. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly what they look like. There are some hotels that are exclusively 220v.
