Hi All!!

I'm travelling to cuba in a fortnight and I think I have got pretty much everything I need for shore/flats fishing.

The only thing is, I can't decide what hook sizes I should be taking.

I've got flies in sizes 2, 4, 6 and 8 but I was wondering what size would be best for bait fishing with my spinning rod.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've got afew lures I've used for barra on other trips but any suggestions of specific lures would be great.

Thanks in advance

You will need only your #6 and 8 bonefish flys as the bf in Cuba run on the small size - very comparable to the bf in Belize.

For bait fishing hooks a #1 or 2 is the best (not a 1/0 or 2/0), as the fish you will catch on bait will be small.

Shallow diving plugs are good general lures, and chartreuse tube lures are the best for barracuda.
