Help !!
I have scoured the web and cannot find any substantial info on Guardalavaca and the beach fishing opportunities in the area. I need some help guys (& girls!). I'm booked into the Playa Puesquero in March 05 and need to make sure I take the right gear and have some forward knowledge of the area. It's supposed to be the biggest hotel on the island so surely someone has been there ?? Whats the local beach like, what can I expect to catch and what are the best tactics. I intend taking a beachcasting outfit and a spinning outfit. What lures would you recommend and what local baits will I get access to out there? There is supposed to be a small estuary close to the hotel so are Tarpon a realsitic target in this area? I'd be happy just to catch a few Cudas but any help given will be very appreciated.
