Hi, I've just booked a holiday to Cuba,Hotel Playa Pesquero,Guardalavaca for March 2005. I need information regarding fishing available in this area. I intend to take my beach rod and also a spinning rod with a vareity of lures, Rapalas, Storm Shads, floats etc. What species and tackle will I need,are Tarpon a possibility from the beach in this area in March, never caught one but would love to. I'm used to lauching 8oz leads 150yds from the shore to catch pin whiting in the UK so anything over 2lb will be a real bonus. If any of you have been to this resort I'd love detailed information about the beach, I don't want to upset my girlfiriend too much so if I can stay local and catch = easy life! Thanks in anticipation.
