I have looked at the pictures you posted (you never know who is going to be looking at your pictures) ;) .

One of the many things I have done and still do in my life is weigh saltwater fish and I have weighed a lot of tarpon. The tarpon picture you posted listed as 95kg might weigh as much as 95lbs, but it is certainly not 95kg. And the tarpon picture you posted listed at 182lbs looks like the same 95lb fish (picture does not show the whole fish) - if that tarpon is 182lbs it would have to be 11 ft long (which is not possible). FYI a 182lb tarpon will be approximately 40-44 inches in circumference - the fish in your picture that you say is 182lbs would be hard pressed to measure 34 inches in circumference. :D

Many anglers like to catch big fish and the tarpon pictures you posted are big tarpon, but unfortunately they are only approximately half the size you say they are. :-/

You know, that's interesting. I type salt-water <-all one word without the hyphen a lot on this site and it always comes out saltwater. :-/ Must be something in the program on this site that does not recognize the word salt-water without a hyphen ???

cubafish, the system probably thinks salt-water is a dirty word.

I've held up big fish before, 40-50 lbs and they were a lot of fish to hold up, is it possible for one man to hold up a 95kg (209.4lbs) fish :o

we went deep sea fishing on our last visit.
we have never done it before.
mel caught a couple of baracoda.
but his first bite gave us a shock.
he lost it of course, but every time he tell's the story the fish get's bigger.
what happened was he could not stop it from running to the bottom, then it got lodged in something.
