Cayo Guillermo November 2004

Hi I'm off to the melia cayo guillermo mid november. I have been to cuba before and stayed at the sol cayo guillermo.
I'll be going out on a boat charter fishing a couple of times so if anyone would like to join me please let me know!
By the way, if you are going to cayo guillermo take a tele' rod as there is lots of fun fishing to be had (by british standards) off the rocks and pier.

I'ts a beautiful place! The sea is unbelievable, so warm and clear! Not Cuba at i'ts purest, but a heavenly location!!!!!!

l wonder how easy it is to get too
as we won't be a part of a tour we may have to get a taxi from moron to the ferry.
tried to check it out on the web but not much luck.
the lonley plant say's there is a local bus,but manly talks
about tours from havana.
we will be going there from bayamo.

There are tarpon in the channel outside the sol club !

November not the best time for fishing in Cayo Guillermo pf inshore and offshore fishing, the calendar is May , June , July , Agoust and September , for tarpon this four months ,jack crevallie july , red snaper in june is the best , barracuda all year . Dolphin , yelowfin tuna , marlin and sailfish is september the best .

In november you can see baby tarpon and with luck cath this , barracuda all year .
