I'm staying at the Brisas Guardalacava for 10 days before travelling to Havana for 3 days. I would be very grateful for any info. I am planning to take a 9ft 70grm spinning rod and some lures. What can I expect to catch? What lures should I take? Most of my fishing will be from the shore. Also it has been mentioned to me that it may be an idea to bottom fish after dark with an uptide rod and my Penn 525 mag reel, chance of something decent.
Are these wise tackle choices?
Advice on line strength and hook sizes would also be welcome. Any items I mustn't forget?
