Hello everyone. I've had trouble getting into the "Casas" site, but wanted to let you know about a lovely casa in Santiago de Cuba, where I've enjoyed staying twice now. Great location, 5 mins walk from Park Cespedes, Casa de la Trova, etc. Very clean and fresh. Very sweet family (although that's not unusual in Cuba?) They only have one bedroom for rent - it has 2 double beds, aircon and an ensuite. Very private, but you can get as involved with the family as you'd like to, of course. Only the husband speaks English, but he works pretty hard. The wife and 2 girls make up for in enthusiasm what they don't possess in English!!
