NEW ;)I have been fishing around Cuba for 3 weeks, from august 29 till september 18, with two danish fishermen, Mr. Poul Erik Olsen and his son, Jens Olsen.

I will recomend you Rio Hatiguanico, the entrance is at km 104 of Autopista Nacional but you fisrt have to pay at Km 102, Rumbos Company Office. *The price has been increased up to 255 USD for 8 hours fishing, that includes *accomodation and breakfast at Don Pedro Motel (Km 142). *Felipe is the best fishing guide around there. *The best season is November-December.

The second location is at Cayo Las Brujas, North of Caibarien, in the Center of the island. Price is 160 USD for 8 hours fishing, Mayito and Samuel are my suggestions as fishing guides. *For accomodation look at private houses in town because hotels at the keys are very expensive. *Best season is from May to September.

My third favourite fishing spot is Zaza River, in Sancti Spiritus. *Contact Nelson at Hotel Zaza, he is the Manager for fishing activities. *Price is 70 USD per 8 hours. *Best season: November-December.

Any person trying to visit this places should rent a car, about 75 USD per day. *8)

This is just a brief report, for any further information you may contact me.
