I recommend an excellent familiar restaurant to you, where one eats very well, but information in web page.

I wouldn't be negative , but in general the Cubans don't have a " eat culture" I have been in several paladars and in 80% of the case the "food" is not worth the money. Generaly speaking Cubans have no idea about good quality food. The best meat I found in Cuba is inferior to the Canadian meat I send to my family in Cuba. There are places where you can have a decent meal , like "los nardos", " el aljibe", "prado y neptuno", "la maison" etc. for the average Cuban are this high end places, to european and north american standards normal every day eateries.
Cubans can not compare and they think their paladars are fantastic, yes it's food but nothing more.

El Diluvio was very good, real Italian pizza, better than Prado y Neptuno
Calle 72 #1705
e 17 y 19

That chef was an Italian guy from the Marches region of Italy. He is married to the paladar owner's sister. I don't recognize the girl in the site menu, so I am assuming that this is another, new operation.

The menu looks good though.

I used to live a block from Bom Apetite - and only used it because it was convenient. (This is 4 - 5 years ago - so things may have changed). Back then, the food was generally very slow to arrive. The pizzas were good, but the rest was ordinary.

EA went there, too and was less impressed than me.

Much better is Din-Don a few blocks further on in 11.
