Move to Nueva York. We have Optimum Voice - 500 min/19.99

But that price that Man from C.. has, is a pretty good rate.

CANCUB!!!!!

Your a lifesaver...or I should say a money saver! :) Thanks so much for the info for COMWAVE. Im going to switch over tomorrow if I can. Does that only apply to LAN lines? Or can I get the same rates for my cell too?

So, have you spent much time in Cuba?

Hey There:
Am happy that you finally switch to COMWAVE and dont worry that is why we are cubans to help each others. By now you should know about the cellphones work with the company becuase they ask you when signing with them but if you havent call them and ask them, they will tell you how to. Am happy for you.

A: Not that much becuase the tickets are expensive so enjoy and I'll see you soon.

Wow - 85 cents a minute is an absolute bargain! I tried with the calling cards boasting of 65 cents a minute but what I got was in fact 10 minutes fewer minutes than I had actually bought, so the deal was not one!

I say you should keep the service you have because it is well below anything else out there. I do know how frustrating it is when you see that you can call places closeby for pennies a minute but that is the price we have to pay for calling Cuba! I wonder who gets the balance of the money????? Hmmmm - something to ponder.

You have probably check the website, and that is where you are getting the wrong information. Call them to the above number is better in person. If you have any problems post it here and I will do my best to help you ok. So hurry up and start saving thouse pennies, you never know when you are going to cuba. lol see ya later and have fun. DC

85 cents is still expensive. www.nobelcom.com (http://www.nobelcom.com/?AFFN=1139416386) has the minute for 75 cents. Don't buy the card for 64 cents, but the one for 75 and that one is worth it.

Hi COMOES3
How does Noblecom work? And why use the 75 cent card and not the 64 cent card? How is the quality of reception? I am currently with Comwave (85 cents/min) and 64 cents sounds interesting.

If you are paying only 85 cents, please tell me what service you are using. That is the best price I have seen in ages. Please be careful of calling cards because they rarely ever live up to their minute promises.

I use 10 10 620 right now and it is just less than a dollar a minute which beats Bell, which is almost $3 a minute!

If you buy the card for 75 cents, you get about 25 minutes for 20 dollars.

thats nice, so if you install skype in Cuba, they will charge you 30 for unlimited calls?

isn't the internet slow in cuba to do this?

As a girl who has recently fallen for a cuban and trying to figure out how to call from Canada, I appreciate all these tips...I was looking into Vonage and Skype but neither seem like they will work. Vonage doesn't include Cuba in their unlimited international plans (go figure) and Skype is only unlimited if both parties can download it...

Yanob, here in the states I use www.comfi.com (http://www.comfi.com) and buy the simply card and refill it as needed. You receive a pin number and can call through their 1-800 system phone number and it is very inexpensive and at very good price. For $10 we get 13 minutes which comes to just under 77 cents a minute and for $20 you get 27 minutes which is 74 cents a minute and you can also buy in $50 and $100 increments which I am sure gives you an even better price. We only buy what we use at one time because they will round off to next 2 or 3 minutes of unused time and also charge like 80 cents a week for unused time. So when you buy only what you use at one time, you get to use your full allotment with no penalty and they let you know when you have one minute left so you can say your goodbyes.

I just signed up for a test card from nobelcom and we'll see how that goes. I have little faith in any calling cards when it comes to Cuba calls.

Skype works very well for me but it's $1.025/minute.

My VOIP phone service (voipyourlife.com) worked fine until sometime in December and now I can't make any connection using their lines.

I'm going to also try the comfi and comwave services that others have suggested.

It is expensive to call Cuba, I have been doing so for years. $0.85 is the best rate that is relaible. I have tried every phone card out there and they do not live up to their promised rates. If you are calling Cuba my best advise is to know what you need to say and make it short. I have learned to except calling cuba into my monthly budget/bills. We will be married soon, and I no longer will have to call as often.
Good Luck to all!

I was going to say everything that Jannesa said except budgeting and getting married (sonrisa).
