Has anyone been Snorkling in the Guardalavca area? im staying at the Htoel Amigo atlantico, and hear the snorling is sublime!! can anyone back up?

we stayed at the club amigo for 3 days on our first trip to cuba ..in 2003....

it was very busy...we thought we were going there to relax as we had had been 8 weeks on the road...

they had this loud speaker that alerted everyone to the daily activities..and when they played bingo they called out the numbers in 5 different lanuages...

at about 4 in the afternoon the pool was full of intoxicated folks jejejej ..so the life guard was busy...

the snorkerling is great l have to say...

we went on 3 trips...nice and peaceful out in the ocean...and the fish are amazing...until the guide decided to feed this hugggggggge eel..that was it for me ..swam back to the boat as fast as l could...
