Hi Everyone,
My wonderful husband of 10+ years, Pedro, is just devastated because none of the letters and photos I have sent ever get to him. I have tried sending the letters to his family's home in San Miguel de los Banos, as well as Limonar, near Matanzas, where my husband is currently living and working.
I have been dealing with disability for a few years now and simply can't afford to visit Pedro. The letters were our lifeline but now nothing gets through. Pedro hasn't seen a photo of our son for over a year and you can't imagine how sad he is. We have had to limit our phone calls to once a month but with our son going back to school this month, I haven't even been able to call Pedro.
I am hoping someone might be able to help me get a letter/photos to my husband. He is more than willing to travel to Havana, Varadero, Matanzas, etc. to pick up the mail, which I would send open because of the strict immigration laws. There is a telephone number close to where my husband lives to contact him once you arrive in Cuba.
You would be making one Cuban man very, very happy just to be able to receive one letter and a few pics. I thank you in advance for your help.
