Hi Everyone,
I am wondering if anyone might be travelling to Varadero, Havana or Matanzas in the near future. I really need to send a letter and photos to my husband who lives in Limonar, which is very close to the Varadero airport. As most of you know, virtually any letter sent from Canada does not reach anyone in Cuba. Most of us suspect that the Cuban postal service opens up the letters to see if money is inside and discard the letters once they realize there is none.
I would, of course, give you money to mail the letter once you arrive in Cuba. I would also leave the letter open just in case the immigration want to see what is inside. It can be sealed once you arrive in Cuba.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Many thanks,
Sandra Espinosa

Short notice, but last minute deal - what can I say!
I leaving for Varadero on Tuesday, February 27th and will take letters, photos or whatever you can get to me. I'm not doing an all-inclusive and will be staying there for three nights then renting a car and heading out so I can deliver anywhere Varadero and heading east. I also know lots of people that live in and near Varadero so delivery won't be a problem.
Let me know ... pennieb12@yahoo.com

Hi Waggerlad,
I do apologize for not sending the letter off to you but I ended up deathly ill with pneumonia for 4 months which nearly ended my life. I was totally incapacitated and away from the computer for most of the 4 months.
I did appreciate your offer and I hope you will accept my apologies.
