Hi All.
Well I'm new here on the forums, although I've been to Cuba several times.
So - on my last trip to Santiago, I taught as a volunteer for 3 weeks and a dog adopted me. As a BIG TIME animal lover I had braced myself in advance that I needed to close my eyes to all the animal suffering and homeless dogs and cats........ one stray pregnant dog - Conchita stole my heart. I found her a home in Santiago and am sponsoring her but want to bring her to Canada. She lost her pups.
If anybody is going in the vicinity of Santiago, and would be willing to do this I can offer $500 towards your trip. Through contacts in Santiago I can probably arrange the vet exam and shots. It would be a matter of taking a dog crate and flying back to Canada with her.
Please email me about yourself and if you are planning a trip and I can tell our story.
Gracias,
Jenny
