Short answer = no. Most items sent to Cuba via mail never arrive.
The best way to do what you are asking about is to find a traveler who is going to Camaguey and get your envelope to them so they can hand deliver it.

as CF said , most post does not arrive . Best way is to send your photos is by parcel courrier. I use DHL , very reliable , but expensive
Letters have little chance of being delivered in Cuba. Sometimes when I felt cheap and didn't want to double register a letter I would send it with "Solo una carta" written all over it and sometimes it would arrive. For photos, take the photo and paste one of those things you can buy at the post offices to address it on the back and... presto you have a postcard! Postcards, in my experience, have always been delivered since there is no possibility there is any money it it. Since you are posting here I'm assuming you have access to word processing. Type your message using the smaller type size and paste it onto the message portion of your postcard. Buena suerte!

Most of the time they don't arrive or take forever to get there. However, I have sent two packages (actual packages not just letters) and a letter to my novio and he got all of them, the packages were both full of pictures that we took in Cuba, there were lots of them too. It's possible, just not likely! Where does it have to go? I'm going to Holguin on May 19th mail me if you want help.

You can always use:
http://www.escriba.com
They print the thing out in Cuba and mail it locally - quicker and more reliable because if it doesn't come from abroad it doesn't look interesting to the mail thieves.

Thank you all for replying. I managed to find someone (a colleague) who was flying down to Santa Lucia last friday to bring card and photos for me.

I doubt they even send the letters.

It's possible they've stopped doing the service. I used it a lot a couple of years back, but now we use mobile phones to text all the time between the family in Cuba and here in the UK.
