we are going back to the sol, on the 18-11-07 and back home on 3rd december so you will have to find another playmate, for your last week (the wife said).

Bringing my own playmate! Well an ex girlfriend anyway(what am I thinking?).
Wont see much of her, be fishing or drunk,or both.
Got loads of new gear to try out,cant wait.
Anyway Wagger you need a weeks headstart fishing so you dont get shown up like last year.
As for the bike, just sailed another M.O.T. and is going like a dream.

HI all,

We`re going to the daiquiri from the 18th of Nov, I`d make one in on any plans if its cool?
also what would i need to bring, I`m mainly lure/fly over here and was thinking of taking one 8/9 and one 10/11 flyrods and a med action spinning outfit and one for t`old lass would this be OK?
I have a great armoury of travel rods so would appreciate and advise

More the merrier Marcel (fishing+drinking!). I use a 10ft 8/9w for bones and average tarpon. I use a 3lbs bs 12ft pike rod for bait/lures and a 6ft baitcaster for a laugh.

ha ha mark me boyo ive drunk more boiling lead than you, as for that old ladies carp rod you have, its that old even the cuban fishermen turn there noses up at it lol.
mind i must say for putting a fly on a tarpon nose you take the cream of the cream, but you cant wiggle your lure as good s me you old welsh tart big xxxxx and luvs the wagger

hi again wagger mate tell me how did your trip to the melia go how was dave and steve ?there out there now you know ,and how was the fishing ? im still trying to get out there this year i would love to see you and mark again and do some fishing whats new out there? steve and dave told me that there is a guy at the melia who has a 2seater boat who can take you out for a couple of hours .very cheap sounds good hey take care ....johnoldboy ?

the fishing was good the snapper where hitting everday, i lost quite a few around the pilings dave and steve where both there dave had some nice fish from the middle and the end of the pier.
dave also had some nice barracuda but he gets up a dawn when im just turning over with the drink lol there was some nice fish from the bridge yosmanie (mani) from the ranchon fished some nice spots he is taking me in november will let you know mani is a fantastic guy ive got loads of gear to give him.
me and (mark the welsh puff) will be both there in november he is bringing his girlfriend this time she will be a new friend for my better half while me and him go fishing and drinking.
taking a couple of new rods myself from (firefly) great range of travel rods and not expensive snip of e-bay and gordon the owner is a fantastic guy anyway m8 catch you later
