.....all you guys that replied to my private messages when I was QUAYLEWD.....it was much appreciated.
After oh so much :wall: I finally got full access to the forums. I suspect the problem was the word 'Quaylewd' in my I.D. and email address....it couldn't get through passport control............er and it wouldn't.....if you know what I mean :rolleyes4!!!
Anyway,, I'm staying at the Iberostar, Cayo Guillermo from the 7th May for 2 weeks so if anyone fancies hammering those Cuda etc together then let me know.
Cheers. Steve.

yea of course mate, and these two guys are the ones i need to find to sort fishing out?
starting to get alllllllllllll excited like a kid again lol starting to sort me fishing gear out,one question wag, fishing from the end of the melia pier,we're you putting your baits/livebait out a distance,or were the fish pretty close to the structure?
oh and just one other thing, when i went last time i spoke to you about the tube lures, and got some earth cable to make em from like you did, although i had no luck that time,was/is the cable you use flexible cos the stuff i had was kinda rigid like
cheers

hi cowie m8
the tube lures are good but use the flexable stuff as it sorts of wiggles through the water, as for the pier, as you walk up it fish the right hand side, there is a clump of grass and the snapper seam to come from the causway inlet. well this is what flipper told me and i had some good results. we used live bait (moarra) we kept some prime fish in a poundland keepnet, they last a long time in the net. wait till the fish run with the bait and they will stop to eat it, on the second run hit it, but you knew that didnt you m8 have a good un. flipper will see you ok he is a good lad a knows his stuff andplaces to fish regards

Hi Bri,
Thanks mate. I just cannot wait to get out there, it sounds awesome!!!
Wifey was starting to get p'$$ed off with me constantly talking about the fishing so I bought her a pink rod & reel and told her she could fish for bait and that has surprisingly had the right effect of bringing her on-side!!
Anyway, I shall post a report upon my return. Have a good one yourself and thanks again.
Steve.
