I would like to make contact with a Canadian angler who I met at the Melia, Cayo Coco last year at around the 1st/2nd May 2007.
If you are an experienced Canadian angler who spoke to an English flyfisherman in the lobby of the Melia while you were waiting for your taxi to Paredon, please get in touch. You very kindly arranged a days fishing for me and my friend at Paredon with Miguel. We chatted about lures for Tarpon and flies for Bonefish at the end of the day but I regret not getting your contact details!

Was he a pro fishing guide in Canada?

Hi Wozzer
He may well have been a pro-guide. He was definitely a very knowledgeable angler and a veteran of Cayo Coco. He was fishing at Paredon with a party of four or five other Canadian anglers who were there for two weeks. Any ideas???

It might be Dave: daveb@fishtales.ca - he used to post here about arranging fishing trips on Paredon. Try a search on this forum for Paredon or Coco.

Thanks Wade I will check that out. However, my wife has just found the missing note with this guys name on - it's Joe Pitino. Anyone know him?
