Finally sourced some tube for these lures, here's a pic, they have 1.5 oz round leads for casting so they should be ok,have made them 10" long. :cool2:

Nice job on your cuda lures - keep in mind that the hooks shown in your picture will rust fast, once used - so best to separate them from any other lures once you have used them in the Caribbean. Chartreuse green has been my best color in the Atlantic/Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico areas, using a +/- 1/2 oz lead sinker. With 1 1/2 oz's of lead, if you have enough line you might be able to toss yours' all the way back home.

Ian lures are fine, try a few different lengths green and yellow mix (earth sleeve) will also work, try putting a small round split ring on hook end, so as to change, damaged/blunt hooks, in no time, Agree with cubafish, your eagle claw/partridge treble will furr up and rust in no time, try eagle/claw sea guard or owner 4x trebles, will have some with us if you dont get sorted.
Still have not sussed the image transfers, to C m site, will keep having a go, God Speed the Bloody boring flight, see you soon

Like Mr Cad I think you need some yellow ones. And perhaps orange? :pumpkin: Orange is my favorite color. Anyway, they look very neat and nicely done. Good for you! http://www.cubamania.com/cuba/images/icons/icon14.gif Have a great trip! :sunny:

Nice ones Ian. They look v similar to the ones I got from the US but mine have an extra treble half-way.
Remember to store them bent/curled so they keep a curved shape - important to the lures action!
