snorlkling some remote sites

Am planning my first trip to Cuba.....primarily to snorkle and hit some beaches. here is my question. I have an inflaitable kayak that weights 25 lbs. it is 10 ft long and good for going out to outer cays and do some remote snorkle trips. Anybody see issues with that? would also like to bring my own bike and be able to just roam about. Everything sounds cool with cuba till the questions get direct.....bikes and boats..whutya thinkin!
Am from Alaska so am handy at living spartan...have wintered in NZ and am trying to repeat that pattern......bike about and boat abit.
Have used locals fishermen to get remote and then explore a bit from that drop off point........is that a workable plan?

Hi took two large inflatable kayaks 2007, to fish from, few questions asked at cayo customs, but no problems at all other than luggage allowance, dont know about the cycle?
