Sailing and Marina information in Cuba ?

Some friends of mine from Mexico want to take there sailboat to Cuba from Cancun. Have any Cubamaniacs done this? Or information on marinas and sailing in Cuba?

Appreciate any and all comments and information.

we met an english couple who had sailed to cuba.
they had no trouble getting in via marina hemmingway.
but internal travel was a bit of a nightmare.
they said they had to wait 14 days for the paper work allowing them to travel to trinidad.

I have done this many times. What kind of information are you looking for?

The internal travel problem mentioned by mellisas is very unusual. The people she eludes to must have had some problems present prior to arriving in Cuba.
