hola,
from cuba I plan to travel to the Dom. Rep. or Haiti in maybe a month by boat.
where is the best place to find a boat going this direction ?
oh, yeah, I am German and will take my 180kg motorcycle

There must be some sort of oceantransports/shipping going in and out of Cuba. But if i pay a cargoship heading to cuba to take me with em, can i get off i cuba? ???

we meet a bloke that took a cargo ship from somewhere in south america.
he got of in havana,although it took him 4 hours to get through customs

Melissas - The experience of the bloke you speak of is very rare. That bloke was either (1)a very experienced cargo ship traveler, or (2)got lucky. :-*

I heard from my travel agent friend in the Dominican Republic that a cruise from Costa Cruises based out of Italy is running cruises from Puerto Plata, DR to Havana, Cuba. Do not know if they will carry a bike though. The cruise last 7 days.
