edtequila, can you provide the name or location of Casas where you had problems also the names of these bad chauffeurs that you had so the rest of us know where not to live and who to not hire.

What did the police say about the missing money, I am assuming that you did report these problems to the police?

Edtequila, like Cubano says unfortunate you had problems, you can say his name on the internet and you can say the name of the casa, they do not respect you then they deserve to be known for what they are.

Cubano, you missed the original post, It was RE: "Living in cuba", from very one very unhappy edtequila, it has been removed ???

I would say post the name and casa.

I second the piece of advice NOT to EVER leave a Cuban you don't know REALLY well unwatched in your room, even for a second.

I haven't been ripped off, since I follow my own advice, but I know many that have.

Greslogo's advice is certainly very wise and should be applied whenever travelling.
JackD, thanks, had completely missed the post. :(

edtequila, sounds like you met up with a real con artist, I'm sure your experience will benefit some people, the lesson here is don't let yourself get set up for a rip off

I still think you should name the chauffeur and the casa.

Edtequila, i also think that these people should be named,Cuba is still a safe country and believe these are exceptions and the only way to stop this kind of people is to let others know their identity.
