Angels land Cuban star Morales

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Highly touted Cuban prospect Kendry Morales has reached
agreement with the Anaheim Angels on a six-year contract.
The Angels said the deal is conditional upon the 21-year-old switch-hitter
receiving clearance from the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign
Assets Control.
"We hope it's sooner rather than later," Angels general manager Bill
Stoneman said Wednesday on a conference call. "I think he got a pretty nice
contract. I'm not going to get into (terms). Hopefully he'll play very well
for those six years and beyond."...
