HELP any info on Beaches Varadero Resort

I am going to beaches varadero and would like to hear from someone who has already been there or anybody who has information about this resort. I have heard it is a nice place but i am always looking for new information and people's opinions. Thanks!

The best in varadero is Pradisus Varadero i was there in june 2001. Good taste , just beautifull.

We were at Beaches Varadero February 2001 for one week. It was our first visit, as we had always stayed at Breezes. The hotel is lovely, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is great.

There were several restaurants to choose from, some required prior reservations. Making these reservations was a hit-or-miss experience. Overall difficult to make reservations, the restaurants seemed to be always full, no matter when the reservations were made.

I did find that there was a lot more tipping than we were expecting, as this is advertised as an all inclusive resort.

There is a nice walk to the beach, which is lovely, and you can walk pretty far, and the sand and water are beautiful.

The staff was pretty nice, service at the bars was friendly, but not terribly efficient.

Rooms were very clean and well-appointed.

We would definitely return.
