We are headed to Cuba again this fall and want to visit Santa Clara. *We want to know if there are any must sees or good restaurants there, my husband loves Cuban food. *We are doing it as a day trip instead of Havana.......was hoping for a little quieter city. *I know this is probably a regular question, but what is the weather like at the end of november.....we have always gone in march or april. thanks *JM

Hi. I'm from Bloomington, Indiana, and Santa Clara is our
sister city. We have a link from our sister-city website
with some of the sights in Santa Clara. (Don't know anything about restaurants though. We were treated by city officials when we were there.) Hope this helps.

Mike, thank you, your site was great. It really seems like a great city to visit, and is definately on my must see, list! we are from a small town in northern Ontario so Havana is a little too much for us but this city is right on the money. You have a great organization, keep up the friendship! take care JM

Zaraqozana, there are great pictures on your site (would have loved to have read it but am limited to only one language, english) *What types of school supplies do you take down and how do you go about giving them out? will they let you tour the schools and will the airline wave the weight on that package since it is for the schools or is it counted in your regular weight allowance? *We always seem to have lots of stuff the kids don't use that could be helpful to the younger kids in school. *thanks JM
