question regarding real estate in cuba

Dear Sir,
Is it true that only people from Russia and Serbia(ex Yugoslavia)can buy residential property in Cuba i.e.Havana.Do you know roughly the price per square meter in a well respected residential area for a solid apartment(around80square meters in a flat).
I come from the ex Yugoslavia and am very interested in purchasing an apartment in Havana...

No foreigner, regardless of origin can buy property in Cuba.

There were a number of Russians that stayed behind when the Soviet Union pulled out. They had lodging provided for them and a permit to buy a car.

I see that you are an expert in communism,first of all my ex country was socialist and not communist although it had a strong communist party..It is shame that after TITO died lots of so called communist took advantage of that and turned into nationalists,tourmenting the masses and bringing them into civil war with the aid of powerful capitalist nations from the west in order to destroy everything that was built("police and thieves in the street,scaring the nation with their guns and ammunition..).Anyway to cut a LONG story short

In my opinion, knowing some Serbs and Croats for decades... the only thing keeping them off each other throats was Tito.

What happened after his death was inevitable. I remember saying that well before Tito's death.

oh yeah socialists....I forgot the proper terminology

like the united soviet socialist republic ..they were'nt communists either.

as they say about the balkans, it was a cauldron of hate, tito put a lid on it and only made it more explosive when lifted
