Looking for house on the beach for three months

Warm greetings to all! *This is my first time on this site and my first message. *My parents (who are semi-retired) are looking to rent a house (with three bedrooms) on the beach, somewhere in Cuba for next January, February and March. *I have no idea where to start or how to go about this task which rests on my shoulders. All I know is that I'm delighted they have made that decision. *Although they have been to other islands, they have never been to Cuba. *I, on the other hand, have been to many islands and in my eyes and heart, Cuba is the most beautiful place on earth. *They need a place where they are not completely isolated but have the peace and tranquility they are looking for. *They speak some Spanish and enjoy latin music and dancing. *They also like to walk around and check out the shops. *Please, please help me find a house on the beach for my parents. *I can't promise much but I could promise you some great Italian food while we're there...(I intend on spending three months there as well!!!)

Anche se vivi in Canada mi sembra che sei Italiano.
Io sono Italiano e sono sposato con una Cubana.
Oramai conosco Cuba molto bene e attraverso i forums mando molta gente a Cuba presso case in cui mi sono trovato benissimo.
Inoltre ho un amico sull`isola che per soli 25 dollari al giorno ti mette a disposizione la sua auto e la sua guida 24 ore su 24.
Le case sono un po` ovunque ma io consiglio quelle di Cojmar o Bahia. Non sono proprio sulla spiaggia ma vicine al mare in un luogo residenziale fresco e tranquillo a poca distanza dal cento dell`Avana.

Welcome Gypsy. I am pretty new to this very nice forum as well. It is a friendly and helpful place for sure. Here are a couple of sites for casa particulares all over Cuba.

You didn't say where in Cuba, your parents want to visit. I have only gone to eastern part of Cuba, but anything in Havana would be good, especially if they want to shop. Also Santiago de Cuba has lots of casas, but not near beaches unfortunately. I would think that Holguin, Guardalavaca area may be nice, beautiful beaches, Camaguey etc. How about Trinidad? Quaint and beautiful city with more shopping than some of the places I mentioned. I am sure you can find something here. Good luck in your search.

please feel free to let me know if you find anything else by the bech that is less expensive. What's great about this place is that it is 15 minutes to Havana. So you can have the big sity and the beach.

Hi Katty, sorry it took so long to write back. My parents had found a place through someone but it fell through. Once again, they are looking to stay in Cuba for three months, January, February and March. They are looking for a two to three bedroom home with two bathrooms preferably near the beach.

They are not looking to share the house with anyone. They want it for themselves for this period.

Could you please let me know if you have anything available and how much it will cost them for THREE MONTHS.
